Behavior Modification Programs are designed for dogs who are exhibiting unwanted behavior other than general disobedience. Such behaviors include but are not limited to: aggression (toward humans or dogs), fearfulness, excessive barking, door dashing, separation anxiety, and unruly house behavior.
The Process begins with a free one on one evaluation that lasts approximately 90 minutes. During this meeting we will discuss your individual needs, and help you prioritize your long and short term training goals. We will also observe your dog’s problem behavior and if necessary perform a series of personality and temperament tests in order to determine the most appropriate training approach. Depending on the nature of your specific problem, a sufficient solution may be achieved during the first session. However, many cases require additional training, in which case we will give you at least two training program options and help you determine which is best for you. Finally, before we leave we will give you several exercises to get you started on the path to obedience!
